Springboard's Handyperson Service

The Handyperson service is sponsored by Rochford District Council, Essex County Council Social Services and Rochford District Crime Reduction Partnership.

If you are over 60 or disabled or on a limited income and live in the Rochford District then the Handyperson service could be for you.

The Handyperson is available for all sorts of different jobs at a cost of Ł6 an hour and is proving to be a national treasure amongst the residents of the Rochford District.
Springboard's Handyperson service can help with all sorts of jobs around the home, from home safety checks, putting up smoke detectors or fitting door chains the Handyperson can help with these little jobs, and lots more besides.
To pay for a tradesman would be very expensive, this way you get the same job done to the same standard at a much more reasonable cost. All you have to do is ring Springboard and supply the materials and the rest is done for you.
In addition to this a gardening service is also available for help with overgrown weeds and general maintenance.
