PC Steve Joynes will be outside Hockley Library on Saturday 13th March 2010, 10am - 12pm, in company with Richard Bills (Neighbourhood Watch) to do cycle tagging.
This is currently free courtesy of Neighbourhood Watch and the Rochford Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership.
The tags can be inserted into the bike frames of adult and teenager size bikes. The tag number and frame number are recorded before being entered onto the National Property Register via website www.immobilise.com (please click on the link below). The log on details are then emailed to the bike owner where they then have the option to (change password) add more of their property e.g. cameras, dvd players etc.
